[You’re carbon copies of one another]
You’re carbon copies of one another But then you find fault in everyone else You’d sell your hair for a similar dress And to freedom of mind you don’t bother How can you be an individual? When everyone bares the same name? Then you label people “Normal” and “Lame” Yet you yourself cannot be critical An Orange in a basket can’t call out And curse another Orange of its Juice Only with a clear mind can you find Truce But you deny, bicker, argue and pout These words of wisdom I spoke often of Are as abstract as what we call ‘Our Love.’ |
