What sorts of characters are central in the Novel?
A:
They are normal, common characters that are from the middle class. Their Jobs
would be really petty, and their life income would be somewhat small.

What sort of situations or actions do they come across?
A:
The situations these
characters would be in are un-heroic yet it’s for their daily survival
routine. It would be such things as buying/hunting for food or working extra
hours to make more money. The actions these characters do are common everyday
actions like one smoking a cigarette and/or reading a book.

What sort of setting is placed in the Novel?
A:
Even though in the Novel the characters move a lot, the setting, or place the
character arrives in is always described in the utter most specified details.
The reader can always visualize the place as if he/she was there. Most of the
times though, the authors use Real places, and so mention specific names. But
when they do not speak about real places the writers always make the reader
familiar with the place by the use of the details.

How is time treated in the Novel?
A:
The Period in the Novel is
on a “Time Continuum” where the writer always mentions specific hours or
dates to keep the reader on alert. The Novel never lacks the mentioning of time,
and it is mentioned either in the form of a clock, as in hours ticking, or in
the form of a calendar as in the passing of days, weeks, months, or years.

What is the language in the Novel like?
A:
The language of the Novel is
very direct and simple since it was written for the Middle Class citizens. It
lacks all the poetic diction or language like “Metaphors and Similes” and
the likes. The purpose of the words and sentences are always denotative rather
than connotative.
